Welcome to Clairmont Community Church!

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Whether you’ve been part of a church before or you’re just curious, we’re glad you’re here. Our church is a community-minded, small-town congregation where people know each other by name and newcomers are warmly welcomed: no pressure and no judgment.

A Relaxed, Welcoming Atmosphere

We’re a casual church, so feel free to come as you are. Our membership spans a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and demographics. You’ll find a friendly group of people who value authenticity, kindness, and community. Our ministries and Sunday services are primarily volunteer-driven, which reflects our shared commitment to serving one another.

Our Sunday Service

Coffee is served at 10:00 am

Service starts at 10:15 am and is finished by 11:45 am

Children's Church (ages 2-11) operates during the service from September to June*

*activity sheets are available during the summer & on holiday weekends

We have a parents room available for infants and toddlers.

Our services typically last 75–90 minutes and follow a simple, meaningful rhythm:

  • Singing songs together

  • Sharing community announcements

  • Reading from Scripture

  • Praying together

  • A message from our pastor or guest speaker (usually about 30 minutes)

Offering

We collect offering during our services for two reasons:

1. Spiritual: we believe that charitable giving, whether time or resources, is a worshipful, sacrificial act. It is one of the ways we display our love for God and for other people. We treat giving as a display of trust and gratitute for God's provision over our lives.

2. Practical: we rely on donations to keep the lights on. We are not a business; we will only operate for as long as our community deems our work important enough to support.

Nobody is ever obligated to contribute financially to our community (2 Corinthians 9:7). Though we value and are grateful for all contributions, you are free to let the offering bags pass you by.

Communion

We celebrate Communion on the last Sunday of every month.

You’re free to simply observe if you do not feel comfortable participating. Please reach out to Pastor Ben or a member of our community if you are unfamiliar with Communion and would like to know more.

We're Here For You

There’s no expectation to have everything figured out. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or looking for a community to connect with we hope you’ll feel comfortable, accepted and encouraged from the moment you arrive.
